Roommate keeps bringing women to the house
Dear Pastor,
I am 19 years old and my girlfriend is also 19. Both of us have entered college. She is in teachers' college and I am at UTech.
I am sharing a house with a guy, but I am not happy because he brings a girl to the house every weekend. We only have one bedroom, so whenever he has a girl at the house, I have to stay away until she leaves. What bothers me is that we are sharing the rent, so he does not have any conscience. He told me that I am stupid to have only one girlfriend, but I do not need more than one because I am a Christian.
One day he went out and I was at home, and at 11 o'clock, he came in with a new girl. He asked me whether he could use the room and I told him no because I was tired. He said he would not take more than 30 minutes. I told him right there that I was going to leave and find another place to live. I don't know what these girls see in this fellow.
I told my parents that I wanted to give up the lease because my name is the only one it. The landlord told me that I should not leave, but I should give my roommate a letter asking him to go. That has caused a big problem between us. He is a very pleasant man, but he wants to run down every skirt he sees. I have never taken my girlfriend to where I live, although she has asked me why I don't. She said she would love to know where I live.
This guy told me that he will leave at the end of January. I hope he will do so. I am trying to live a decent life. That night when he asked me if I could give up my room so he could have sex with the new girl he brought to the house and I told him no, it caused him to be very upset with me. He left with her and he did not return for the rest of the night.

Dear M.W.,
This young man with whom you are sharing a house has to learn that no man can finish a woman. You know what I mean, don't you?
Regardless of how hot he may feel he is, he will one day run out of steam. You are very fortunate that the landlord has not given both of you notice to leave. I hope that when this young man leaves, you will find a better roommate. I wish you well. Study hard and concentrate on your college work. All the best, my friend.
Pastor
